Things have been slow, crime wise, after the whole Joker incident. Perhaps all the criminals were just holding back, waiting for the tense atmosphere to dissipate? It would make the most sense. Everybody was on high alert still, especially Batman. But because of this down time, it’s lead to Damian being rather bored and with little to do. Training constantly only goes so far. So Damian head’s out each night, patrolling the streets, looking for anything really. Even something as simple as a petty thief.
“Ugh… come on, steal something, mug her, anything!” He muttered to himself, peering down at a hooded man from a rooftop across the street. The man was acting suspicious enough, but he walked right on past the lady on the sidewalk, who could have been an easy target. “Dammit!” Damian sat up, tossing his hands into the air in frustration.
The bat smirked as her motorcycle passed by the misshapen sign welcoming her into the city, each standing building brought forth an array of memories. Some good, many bad, but they all led up to one feeling. Home. It had been months since Cassandra last came to Gotham and she missed it more than anyone could know, her… family did not always keep the contact she wished for. Though with her return, she hopes that will change.
She spied on the roof tops, sure to catch someone, either hero or villain, watching over the streets. With a little flash of yellow followed by an all too familiar shouting voice, the vehicle slid into the alley and came to a halt. All of the time spent in Hong Kong allowed her to become quicker, the grapple was almost useless as she leaped between buildings and landed behind Damian. “Robin."
